Bookkeeping Operations Manager
I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BS in Business Administration. For the past 36 years, I have worked for a nonprofit grant-making foundation in Austin, concentrating on performing monthly accounting/bookkeeping tasks. I’m responsible for preparing the Foundation’s monthly financial reports as well as the end-of-year tax form and payroll. I have a good working knowledge of Sage Peachtree Accounting software and have been certified in all three levels of QuickBooks Online. I absolutely love making sure debits/credits balance each month, down to the penny. I would love to help you make “cents” of the financial side while you concentrate on the creative side of your business.
In my free time I love to read, listen to music, and work in my yard.

Business Operations Manager
My background has been in ASIC chip design for almost 40 years. However, before I embarked on my (BS EE) engineering career, I was a semester and a summer away from also obtaining an Accounting degree. After being in college for almost six years at Texas A&M (probably an Aggie joke somewhere there), it was time to pursue the engineering path when the opportunities arose. I now have one foot back in the debits and credits of the world while concentrating on all the various techniques available for businesses to increase their marketability, their traffic, and how much AI is able to assist that effort.
As my wife dedicates much of her time to the client bookkeeping tasks, I help manage the business details of the various services we offer, working with the onboarding of new clients, and focusing on the financial analytics and marketing tools within our advisory services. I believe that business owners need more than just having their record-keeping be compliant. It’s a tough and competitive world, and any edge we can provide to our clients can only help them to compete better. We will do our darndest to understand and satisfy your business needs. If you are not successful in your business endeavors, we will not be successful either. We want to help your business succeed!
Our Family & Pets
In addition, our family has lived in Austin for over 30 years. We have two daughters (one is in graduate school studying Forensic Science in Arizona and one recently graduated from high school and is working on starting her own business).
We also have five additional members of our family which are not allowed to be declared as dependents on our 1040 Form – even though they consume our board, food, and money. These include two guinea pigs, two rabbits, and one brown-headed parrot aptly named Marty McFly.
